The great grandfather of all photojournalists and a man of boundless determination, Robert Capa is well known for covering five different wars: the Spanish Civil War, the Second Sino-Japanese War, World War II, the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, and the First Indochina War. He was fond of risking his life to take photos of the bloodiest battles. On May 25, 1954, Capa was in Southeast Asia to cover the First Indochina War.
